Sport Professional è diventato il riferimento in Toscana ed in centro Italia per tutti coloro che hanno fatto dello sci la loro passione. Un laboratorio all’avanguardia, una esposizione di sci e scarponi difficilmente riscontrabile in Italia, una professionalità consolidata dall’apprezzamento di clienti provenienti da tutto il mondo, tutto questo ha fatto sì che Sport Professional si espandesse, e dal negozio in Val di Luce si trasferisse in pieno centro all’Abetone.

Filippo Lo Giudice

E con un responsabile tecnico che si chiama Filippo Lo Giudice, era inevitabile che Sport Professional non fosse coinvolta nel volo libero! Pilota di parapendio dal 1986, Filippo Lo Giudice è stato collaboratore di numerose ditte nel panorama del volo libero fin dagli albori, dalla Air Slide alla Parfa, dalla Paranoia alla Airwave, e recentemente è stato coinvolto in una magnifica avventura chiamata Air Design!

Nel 1997 è stato Team Leader della Nazionale Italiana di Parapendio ai World Air Games in Turchia, e nel 2002 ha accompagnato la squadra di Deltaplano agli Europei in Slovenia, dove le ali rigide hanno conquistato il 1° posto a squadre. Ai Campionati Italiani Formula Base 2002 è arrivato 2°, nonostante fossero oramai anni che non si dedicava alle competizioni. Abilitato ai voli in biposto sin da quando il volo è stato regolamentato, è anche pilota di deltaplano dal 1990. Fin dall' inizio ha collaborato con scuole di volo tra le più prestigiose, in Italia e non. Filippo è il fondatore del primo club di parapendio in Toscana, il mitico Toscana parapente, che dopo anni di latitanza rivede la luce nel 2004

Air Design, una nuova avventura

Nel 2011 nasce Air Design. Martin Gostner, storico manager Airwave, si lascia coinvolgere da un sogno e fonda la ditta insieme a Stephan Stieglair, già Campione del Mondo di parapendio e disegnatore affermato di vele diventate apprezzatissime dai piloti di tutto il mondo. Sport Professional diventa quindi importatore esclusivo per l’Italia del marchio, curandone anche la distribuzione.

The VITA is designed for pilots who want good performance with the highest standard of safety. The medium size has EN-B certification, with one B at accelerated asymetric collapse, and A on all other maneuvres.

In this class it is important to have confidence in the air. The VITA makes it easy to progress and to do your first XC-flights.

At take-off you notice the very simple launch characteristics – easy to control without overshooting.

In turbulent air the VITA remains solid and very forgiving. From the first flight on, the VITA delivers long-lasting satisfaction and confidence.

Our development team used the latest technologies for top performance in the PURE. It is a real 3-line wing made exclusively of race lines. In the nose as well as in the back of the ribs we use nylon wires to optimize the airflow in the critical areas. Quarter ribs at the trailing edge provide a cleaner separation.

The new design of the airfoil ensures top performance in all conditions. Latest technologies taken from our 2-liner PURE R are also used with the PURE.

New design features make it exceptionally safe, providing great static stabilitiy, even in turbulences. The PURE has stiffer areas in the front and back of the wing which makes it very stable. More flexible areas within the wing were placed at the right spots to guarantee the agile handling and good climbing characteristics. The PURE absorbs even strong turbulences at speed. In case of a collapse the wing is easy to control. These features usually only come with lower certification levels, yet the PURE maintains its agility and activity.
